An indoor waterpark paradise to escape to! 🌴
Bora Parc

Looking to escape into summer fun without hopping on a plane? We found a tropical indoor waterpark in Quebec that brought serious vacation vibes—dim lights, palm trees, music, and slides galore! We made the 7-hour drive from Durham Region, Ontario for our spontaneous road trip, and here’s how it went…

Middle – Lazy River Cave
Right – Lazy river and big water slides

The Vibe: Like Stepping Into a Mini Vacation
From the moment you walk in, you’re transported somewhere warm and lively. The dim lighting, lush tropical décor (still not sure if those palm trees were real or fake!), and upbeat music instantly set the mood for a fun, family-friendly day.
We opted for the evening rate, which gave us four hours of waterpark access—and it was the perfect amount of time for our family. We visited on a Friday evening and were pleasantly surprised that it was not overly busy. Lines for the slides were minimal. Our toddler lasted just over three hours, so the four-hour window worked out really well for everyone. To watch a full video review, click here!
For the Thrill-Seekers: Slides & Adrenaline
There are 14 water slides in total, many of them designed for older kids and teens. This place is a dream for adventurous tweens, teens, and even parents looking to test their nerves! There are a mixture of body slides (both open and closed), tube slides, capsule and release slides and a big family raft slide. There are 4 medium sized slides for kids, 2 are wide ramp slides, one straight and one spiral (this one is nice and slow)
Little Kid-Friendly Features
If you’ve got younger kids, there’s still plenty to do:
- A family pool with two wide ramp-style slides you can ride together (They are fast! A little too fast even for our adventurous 3.5 year old)
- A couple of medium-sized slides that are perfect for kids who want a bit more thrill.
- A toddler splash pad zone with a small slide—ideal for the 5-and-under crowd (Note: it is very dim lighting)
The Lazy River of Dreams
Don’t skip the lazy river—this one’s special. It winds through gentle water features and finishes with an epic cave-like tunnel lit with soft glowing lights. Tubes are provided, and it’s pure bliss for both kids and adults. (Note: There is a height minimum. Our daughter just made the cut and had to ride in a tube with us.) Just a note if you have anyone in your family that is sensitive to water, there are a lot of the water features go over your head during the lazy river ride.
Other Attractions
- Beach-entry wave pool
- FlowRider surf simulator
- Hot tub (not super hot and it was a bit crowded during our visit)
Amenities & Atmosphere
The energy throughout the park is fantastic—music, lights, excitement. There are tables and seating areas throughout.
Other amenities include:
- On-site restaurant (we didn’t get a chance to try it)
- Optional private cabana rentals
- Life jackets and tubes provided
- Lots of free parking on-site
- Hotel right on site
- Outdoor waterpark also on site (was not open yet during our visit)
The Locker Situation: A Bit of a Letdown
While the waterpark experience was overwhelmingly positive, there was one aspect that really stood out—and not in a good way.
Locker rentals are $15, and you cannot bring your own lock. This felt steep, especially since storing your belongings at a waterpark is a necessity, not a luxury. The only free alternative is an open shelving unit just outside the communal change room, which isn’t secure or monitored. To add to that, bags are not permitted inside the waterpark unless you have a medical reason (I was only allowed to bring in a small crossbody for essentials).
We were bothered by this and it was a bit of a shocking price tag when we arrived. A more affordable and flexible locker system would go a long way in improving the guest experience.
Final Thoughts
Overall, this indoor waterpark was absolutely worth the road trip. Between the tropical vibes, variety of attractions for all ages, and the well-designed layout, it checked nearly all the boxes for a fun family getaway. We’d absolutely visit again—next time, we’ll just be a bit more prepared for the locker policy!
This was a great attraction to add to our road trip. If you’d like to learn more about the epic kid-friendly hotel we stayed at, click here to read about it!
Things to Note:
- Highly recommend bringing a waterproof phone pouch to keep your phone safe and to be able capture the memories.
- The whole park is dim lighting. We loved this vibe but not everyone would be comfortable with it.
- Bring your own towels. Towels are only provided to hotel guests.
- The pool water is comfortable, it’s not super warm but it is not cold. After the 3 hour mark we were feeling a little chilly.
- You can book the day time or evening time slot. They are 4 hours each. I did not see an option for an all day pass.
- There are height minimums for the bigger slides.
- Buy your passes online to save $5 per person.
