Upon Check In
As soon as you step into the welcoming lobby, you’re greeted by the glow of a fireplace, cozy seating, and inviting lighting that sets the tone for your stay. The convenience is unbeatable—you’ll find a Boston Pizza right on site, perfect for an easy family meal, and just off the lobby, a bright and spacious breakfast area with plenty of seating where the complimentary continental breakfast is served each morning. The staff are warm and welcoming and are fluent in both english and French!

Our Room
We stayed in a Trendy 2 Queen Bed Room, and it was both cozy and stylishly decorated. One of the beds was a Murphy bed, but you’d never know it—the mattress was identical to the main queen bed, and both were incredibly comfortable. I loved that our room came with thoughtful extras like a coffee maker (the same one we enjoyed at Hotel Québec—and the coffee was just as amazing!), a mini fridge, and a microwave. Those little conveniences make such a difference, especially for families, and so many hotels skip them these days.
Storage was also well thought out, with a closet, ironing board, and safe. The lighting really stood out—soft ambient options plus individual reading lamps by the beds, along with plenty of outlets and USB ports for all our devices. The bathroom felt fresh and modern, featuring a sleek glass countertop and sink, a walk-in shower, and more than enough fluffy towels for the whole family.

Amenities
One of the biggest reasons I think this hotel is such a gem for families—especially those with kids of different ages—is the pool and the family entertainment centre. Hear me out!
The pool is located on the 7th floor and has a terrace alongside it, giving you a lovely view of the city’s hustle and bustle. The warm, inviting water makes it perfect for both day and evening swims, and there’s even a hot tub for parents who want to sneak in a little relaxation. For the kids, the pool area has its own splash pad with water tables, dump buckets, and sprayers—plus the ultimate highlight: a waterslide! There is a 42” height requirement, but our daughter was able to ride with my husband even though she was under that height, which was such a win for her.
Then there’s Carie Factory, the family entertainment centre that’s attached to the hotel and just a few steps away. For one admission price, you get access to everything: an indoor playground (don’t forget your socks!) for the little ones to burn off some energy, a ball blaster room for family battles, and unlimited arcade play—no tokens or card reloads needed. Just walk in and start playing! What really struck me was that parents weren’t sitting on their phones like you often see at play centres—they were actually playing alongside their kids. It felt like true family bonding, and you could see core memories being made all around. You can add on the 4D theatre experience, claw machine, snacks and drinks to enhance your experience!
This is exactly what makes the hotel so perfect for families with a wide age range. Younger kids love the splash pad and playground, older kids can’t get enough of the waterslide and arcade games, and the ball blaster room? Honestly, my husband and I were probably having just as much fun as the kids—collecting foam balls and launching them through air cannons was so much fun!
On top of that, Hotel Must also has a gym right beside the pool and a stunning terrace with lounge seating and tables. It’s a beautiful spot to unwind, whether you want to play a card game with friends or curl up with a good book.
Note: the pool area has elevator access to the floor but the pool room has s small set of stairs to go up (approximately 6-8 steps that I can recall)

Dining
Hotel Must is in a fantastic location for dining, with lots of options nearby. Right off the lobby, you’ll find a Boston Pizza—always a family favourite—and just a short walk across the parking lot is Cora’s, perfect for a hearty brunch before a day of exploring.
The hotel itself offers a complimentary continental breakfast in a bright, welcoming space. And let me tell you—the coffee is delicious (thank goodness, because moms need good coffee to keep up with busy mornings!). I was pleasantly surprised by the variety: yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, fresh fruit, toast, bagels, cream cheese, warm pancakes, cereal, and juice. It’s the perfect way to fuel up before your day of adventures.
But the true dining highlight of our trip was just a short drive away: Les Palmes Restaurant, located inside the Québec Inn Hotel. This spot is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you step inside, you’re transported into a tropical oasis—palm trees, lush greenery, softly lit pathways, and a warm, balmy atmosphere that feels worlds away from the city. The food was nothing short of outstanding, and the service was next level.
We started with the mushroom risotto and parmesan fondue, both so good we couldn’t decide which one we loved more. For mains, we had the prime rib and the seafood linguine, and I’m not exaggerating when I say the sauce on that pasta was one of the best I’ve ever tasted. The whole experience felt like fine dining in paradise. Even a week later, my husband is still talking about that prime rib! Les Palmes was easily one of the best meals we’ve ever had, and it’s absolutely worth adding to your itinerary if you’re in the area.

Location & Extras
Conveniently located just minutes from Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport and only a 20-minute drive to downtown Québec City, Hotel Must is in the perfect spot for families. You’ll find plenty of shopping, dining, and local attractions nearby—making it easy to fill your days with fun. And here’s a little mom tip: there’s a Walmart just down the road, which always comes in handy on trips (because let’s be honest—there’s always something we forget to pack!).
Whether you’re traveling with toddlers, teens, or a mix of both, Hotel Must offers the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and fun, making it a place we can’t wait to return to!
